Bao is an Indian illustrator and design researcher. 

Like every designer, their work focuses on something at the intersection of multiple other things. In this case, it is caste, gender, and ecology. Her work has been recognized by the Bauhaus, Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung, and other institutions but more importantly shared via screenshots and DMs between friends, Instagram followers, and loved ones. They're not very good at writing their bio but are hopeful that you find their work inspiring enough to get in touch for a collaboration.

Her unmistakable style has established her as one of India’s sought-after illustrators from the anticaste community. Bao's clients include The Habitats Trust, Suno India Podcast, Shado Magazine UK, Pratham Books, Wildlife Conservation Trust, Third Eye Social, and many others.
